Children with Disabilities Enjoy the Pool at U de Colima!

As part of MUSE, Universidad de Colima, Mexico has begun offering swimming lessons for children with disabilities at the swimming pool on campus, with the goal of improving motor skills and overall development. Parents are thrilled, commenting that their children are "more sure of themselves; their motor skills have improved. The swim instructors are helping us to improve their overall quality of life" [translated from article]. Instructor Alberto Ayala commented that it has been a challeging yet very rewarding experience.
